Hi, I’m Emma!

I use a non-diet approach when collaborating with clients to offer support in sorting through the root causes of behaviors to find peace in beliefs about food and our bodies, as well as values related to health.

I am fascinated by the gut/brain connection and as a result have a special interest in working with folks that have functional gut disorders, chronic pain, and mood disorders.

My approach is informed by a variety of therapeutic models. I like to bring in humor and transparency to sessions and value collaboration. My hope is that this will lead to authentic and fulfilling connections with clients that will create a safe environment to explore lasting change.

Education & Experience

I graduated from the Coordinated Program at the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.  I have worked at various levels of eating disorder care, which has given me the opportunity to assist clients in some of the most challenging times of their recovery process.  Most recently, I worked at an outpatient group practice in Austin and recently moved back home to Houston to be closer to family.
